Our Story

Finding out I was about to bring a beautiful child into the world is one of the most joyful moments I can remember experiencing in my life. Losing that beautiful child ; one of the hardest moments I can remember experiencing in my life. I am unsure how long you and your significant other have tried for a child. At the time, me and my spouse had tried for several years and were elated when we found out we were expecting. We hoped for a little boy and imagined all the soccer games and family times we would all share together. I was beyond excited to find out the gender of our soon to come baby. I remember having in my calendar the day we were expecting to find out the gender and my friends and family were just as excited. However, the night before the gender appointment; I went into labor and had our baby boy at 19 weeks pregnant. Honestly, I don’t think there is ever enough words or sentiments someone can give during a loss such as this in our lives. But, I’m hoping in the After Miscarriage ministry we are able to offer you encouragement, hope, resources, and guidance as you navigate this difficult season.
