Finding out I was about to bring a beautiful child into the world is one of the most joyful moments I can remember experiencing in my life. Losing that beautiful child ; one of the hardest moments I can remember experiencing in my life. I am unsure how long you and your significant other have tried for a child. At the time, me and my spouse had tried for several years and were elated when we found out we were expecting. We hoped for a little boy and imagined all the soccer games and family times we would all share together. I was beyond excited to find out the gender of our soon to come baby. I remember having in my calendar the day we were expecting to find out the gender and my friends and family were just as excited. However, the night before the gender appointment; I went into labor and had our baby boy at 19 weeks pregnant. Honestly, I don’t think there are ever enough words nor sentiments someone can give during a loss such as this in our lives. However, I’m hoping the After Miscarriage ministry, Bible Plans, Conversations with God: After Miscarriage & Pregnancy Loss Devotional, and After Miscarriage Podcast, gives you encouragement, hope, resources, and guidance as you navigate this difficult season.

Navigating singlehood can be confusing, discouraging, and sometimes heartbreaking. But, it can also be rewarding, fulfilling, and a thriving season for you! I had a hard time understanding how to date, why I would stay connected to guys who weren’t good for me, understanding the importance of waiting for marriage, how to know if a guy was into me, finding my confidence, and so much more. As I found myself struggling with these issues I found myself wanting to help other women navigate their single life; hoping to give encouragement, healing, hope, and guidance. Through this desire, my first book Not Tonight was born as well as the Rubies Healing & Letting Go ministry and the Rubies Healing & Letting Go Sessions.
