Break-ups + Divorce: How to Break a Soul Tie
Can’t figure out why you keep thinking about him? Frustrated that you keep finding yourself going back to an ex no matter how hard you try to move on? Yeah; me too. Soul ties are real, strong, but not impossible to break. I hope in this segment of “Convos with Chloe” I’m able to give you some quick tips on how to break a soul tie and finally move on.
What You Will Learn:
- Be patient. Understand that just like it took you time to fall in love with this person, get to know them, and form an attachment, it’s going to take you that time to detach from them. “Do not feel bad when you find yourself still wanting them and missing them months later, don’t assume you’ll never get over this.”
- Be very prayerful. God says He hears every single cry and will give us what we ask from Him. Ask God to help you break this soul tie and allow Him to do it in His time.
- Have a plan and stick to it. Stop talking to this person or looking through their social media if you’re serious about breaking the soul tie. Write down the triggers and weaknesses that you have about your past partner, stop them, and get your plan together. “When you don’t have a plan, you’re basically setting yourself up to fail.”
Conclusion
Breaking a soul tie is just as simple as the points above and waiting and trusting in God to hear your prayer. Know that whatever you’re going through right now is worth it, and with time you will be healed, free, and able to move on with your life.
